Which are the two standards applicable for pumps?

For petrochemical industry, the pump design industry has developed standards for the manufacture and supply of pumps. Two most important standards are applicable for the pump:

1) ASME/ANSI B 73.1 for chemical process pump
2) API 610 for refinery service pumps.

These standards are useful for the minimum technical requirements for the mechanical design of the pumps and bearings.
